We’re looking forward to you joining us. Before you book though, there are important things you need to know…

BOOKING

  • You can book up to 2 seats.
  • You must provide email addresses and phone numbers for any adults you book.
  • Each person receives an Eventbrite reservation + email from us before and after.
  • 48 hours before, you’ll receive a confirmation & COVID-19 check. Please refrain from attending if your answer is yes to any of the questions.
  • We have limited seats so if you’re not coming please cancel so someone else can attend.

You may book for a minor or an adult without an email address. You receive all notifications.

CHILDREN: We recommend that children be over the age of 9.  Younger children may find the headsets heavy, especially if they are unfamiliar with VR.

Questions:  You can reach us at booking@uninterrupted.ca

TIME of arrival on TICKET - Don’t be late, you have gear to put on!

The time on your ticket is the time you must arrive so we can deck you out in VR.

People arriving after their ticketed time may not be seated.

This event is free to the public with the generous support of Premier Partners:

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING - and LEAVE AT HOME

  • Please wear a mask before and after the showing.

  • If you wear glasses – we suggest you bring a small pair. Big glasses are tricky to fit.

  • Keep face makeup to a minimum – you’re wearing a headset remember! And please, no sunscreen.

  • We provide earbuds, but if you have your own you can bring them along.

IF YOU’RE NEW TO VR

You’ll be seated in a chair that swivels in a circle – because VR is all about being immersed in an experience 360°, and we want you to be able to move easily.

VR can be a little disorienting for first time users – and some people may experience mild motion sickness. You can always pause and close your eyes, and you can also take your headset off.

LOCATION

We will be located on the patio behind the Museum of Vancouver overlooking Vanier Park, in the area also known as Sen̓áḵw, an historic Squamish settlement.

There are NO WASHROOM facilities at this location. The MOV will be closed for the day at the time of the  Uninterrupted-VR presentations. There are public washrooms nearby at Hadden Park, Kitsilano Beach, and in Vanier Park.
