UninterruptedVR travelled to the Comox Valley Art Gallery (CVAG) in Courtenay, BC and was featured for six weeks last spring. Our virtual reality experience was one of three B.C. based works included in IMMERSED: Return to Water, a recurrent exhibition at the mid-island gallery exploring “the enduring relationship we have with this watery region.”
Viewings accommodated five visitors at a time, each fitted with a VR headset and seated in a swivel chair to accommodate the 360 degree viewing. While at the gallery, visitors could also enjoy two other water-themed works, Texada and ChronoScapes. The exhibition concluded at the end of May, 2025.
A new exhibition of UninterruptedVR is being planned for Vancouver in late winter 2026.
