Images unfold across its contours, breaking the darkness. Familiar city scenes at first, they shift to become a glimmering underwater world. The images are both abstract and concrete, mingling to reveal a river. The singular upstream journey of a salmon migration has begun.
This cinematic virtual reality spectacle captures an ancient cycle of renewal that has fed entire ecosystems – uninterrupted since before recorded time. Now that cycle is threatened by climate change and urban expansion.

UninterruptedVR was designed for collective viewing as a live presentation. The running length is 24 minutes. It is available for licence to galleries, museums and other public spaces with VR capabilities. The experience has been showcased in a number of venues for audience groupings as small as four and as large as forty.
