Missed the event this summer? Then immerse yourself in pics from our four destinations – outside the Museum of Vancouver, on the veranda of the Burnaby Art Gallery, the plaza next to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and to the Shipyard Commons in North Vancouver.
Our Metro Vancouver tour was the test run for a new edition of the 2017 production. The salmon on the bridge are now a virtual reality experience – and this summer we created an outdoor synchronized VR event so that audiences of twenty could enjoy being immersed together.
There were 4 free showings nightly – each person seated in a swivel chair and equipped with a VR headset to enjoy the 360 degree experience. The tickets, while free, were reserved online in advance and we were booked to the brim at each of our locations.
Enjoy the pics as we extend appreciation to our partners who made it possible – our VR and digital crews who created elegance and ease out of complexity – our summer tour team and streamkeeper volunteers who brought it all home – and finally to our audiences who donned the headsets to take the journey to the salmon on the bridge – thanks to you all!
