YOU FIND YOURSELF ALONE AT NIGHTFALL UNDER A CITY BRIDGE...

Images unfold across its contours, breaking the darkness. Familiar city scenes at first, they shift to become a glimmering underwater world. The images are both abstract and concrete, mingling to reveal a river. The singular upstream journey of a salmon migration has begun.

This cinematic virtual reality spectacle captures an ancient cycle of renewal that has fed entire ecosystems – uninterrupted since before recorded time. Now that cycle is threatened by climate change and urban expansion.

A bridge and a river, symbolizing the connected destiny of cities and nature everywhere.

UninterruptedVR was designed for collective viewing as a live presentation.  The running length is 24 minutes, and the visual story arc is set to an originally composed score.  No narration makes it perfect for international exhibition.  The experience has been showcased in a number of venues in Canada, and featured in Taiwan in 2023.

It is available for licence to galleries, museums and other public spaces with VR capabilities.   If you’re interested in finding out more – great!  We’re now planning exhibitions for 2025/26 and can be reached through: hello@uninterrupted.ca
