It is a big question at this time of year. “What makes for a great first date in Vancouver?” With a cozy outdoor atmosphere, and an inspiring cinematic event with great entertainment value, there’s no better way to connect with someone special this summer. Plus, it’s free!
Start by visiting one of the greats bars or restaurants in Yaletown. There are lots of choices right on Marinaside Crescent or closeby along Mainland or Hamilton. Then be sure to arrive at our site under the Cambie Bridge in Coopers’ Park before 9 pm (8:45 is recommended) for our unforgettable 25 minute digital spectacle Tuesday to Saturday.
Celebrate Canada 150 in Vancouver
While we love moose, mounties, and mountains, here on the west coast, wild salmon are an iconic symbol of Canada too. As one of the largest Canada 150 events in the nation, Uninterrupted brings Canadians, newcomers, and visitors together right through the summer of 2017.
A great place to suntan downtown in the day, by night Uninterrupted transforms Coopers’ Park into an intimate, immersive venue for any group outing. We’ve had lots of visitors from around the world, and some have come back for repeat visits!
Uninterrupted is a bicycle friendly event in Vancouver. Get Mobi-le!
Vancouver is fortunate to have Mobi, an extensive bike share system that will grow to 1500 bikes at 150 stations over the next few years. Add to that a world first digital art spectacle that transforms the Cambie Bridge into a salmon bearing river and you have an experience worth pedaling to!
The nearest Mobi station to Uninterrupted is at 1011 Marinaside Crescent – a few minutes walk to our site. On the False Creek Seawall, there are bike racks for secure bike storage. Roll on down!

Uninterrupted is a unique activity if you’re downtown this summer – and remember it’s free! A perfect event for children 5 and up, Uninterrupted moves an hour earlier to 9 pm as of August 15 so you can be packed up and heading home by 9:30. Enjoy this cultural activity for families, part of the City of Vancouver’s celebration of Canada 150 +.
